Greetings! BEFORE SENDING AN INVITATION please get to know me first because I rarely accept invitations from people with whom I've had no interaction. You are welcome to leave comments on blog posts and on my albums, that's a very good way for us to become acquainted. Please also tell me why you wish to be my friend/on-line buddy, I'm merely trying to avoid the "face collectors." Regarding my pseudonym, "Ukalichick." This is a screen name that I have used for years, "ukali" is swahili for fierce/sharp. After I began my first blog I changed it to a pseudo-last name so I could use my real first name. If you used to know somebody called "Ukali Chick" or "Jedi Chick" from the Napa Valley then it might be me! Please drop me a line. I used to live in California's Napa Valley but recently I moved to Idaho's Treasure Valley so my husband and his parents could achieve their dream of opening an Italian restaurant. It's been a long and challenging road in these tough economic times but our restaurant is finally open and we are thrilled! Will our restaurant make it? Que cera, cera? The future is not ours to see. But being from the Wine Country I prefer to say: Que Syrah, Syrah! Enjoy my site!
